"Briggie you old bastard we miss you"
written by Washuntara Montgomery Alabama 09
I can hear him saying "gidday" and asking the big guy "How ya battln". Beautiful "Briggie" went to meet his maker a year ago. He made it to his and Berell's 76th wedding anniversary then gracefully retired."Im too bloody old" he loved to tell me with a twinkle in his eye. If that's what "bloody old is" Im for it, besides 98 is a fine innings. The man "brightened the life" of every one he bumped into. His kind of Aussie bloke is a dying breed, a "fair go" in Herbert Brigginswaw's eyes is what you deserved and what you got. When I found out you'd quit, I cried. "Briggie" you loveable old rouge, the "lads" and I from Wellington Park, miss you and we'll see ya soon enough.

He She We, The Privilege Click Join Washuntara and Celia as they create a space dedicated to exploring, and reconciling the differences between men and women. "The Privilege" (and that is what it is) gives the genders a chance to really see and hear one another, close up and personal. The relationship myths we attempt to live by are opened up and given a good shake out. He, She, We, brings the added "intimacy of music", and "the power of humor" to the fire. Both presenters are consummate professionals in this work. They are also vibrant troubadours, using their arts to assist in discovery and healing. It’s fun. It can be hard. But most of all it’s rewarding stuff.
